David G. EngelhardtDavid G. Engelhardt, President

Mr. Engelhardt started ATS in 1986 to answer the business dilemma of inflexible hardware and software solutions. He brings design and reengineering expertise from his involvement in hundreds of firms' automation initiatives. Since the inception of ATS he has consulted and designed business information systems for Fortune 100 companies, local businesses, and virtually everything in between. Mr. Engelhardt studied Mathematics & Computer Science at the University of Hartford. In addition to being ATS's CEO, he sits on the board of directors of Supportive Oncology Services, Inc., and Accelerated Community Oncology Research Networks, Inc.

Martin WittmannMartin Wittmann, VP of Software Development

Mr. Wittmann has been developing database applications and accounting systems since 1990. His clients include manufacturing and distribution companies, portfolio and fund management companies, and non-profit institutions. He has developed systems on several platforms, in many languages, and for a wide variety of applications, like instrumentation control, graphics and image processing, numerical analysis, and manufacturing control.

Most recently for ATS, Mr. Wittmann has been designing and developing wireless, client-server applications that deliver information to heterogeneous information systems in real-time.

He holds a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a doctorate in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University.

Carl SgambotiCarl Sgamboti, Dir. Interaction Design

Mr. Sgamboti has over 20 years of experience in the software development and wireless computing industries. His technical expertise includes database, client-server, web-based, thin client, and wireless technologies. Mr. Sgamboti has consulted in the industries of manufacturing, distribution and logistics, medical research, and fulfillment, to mention but a few. He holds a B.S. in Math/Computer Science from the University of Hartford.

Lee Lepkowski, Development Leader

Mr. Lepkowski has developed, designed and supported manufacturing and distribution systems on minicomputer and PC platforms since 1990. Prior to that, he was a Production Planner at a relay manufacturer and also managed a PC hardware service department, developing database applications for clients. At ATS, he has developed accounting systems, manufacturing systems, and wireless automated data collection systems for many large clients, spanning most major industries.

He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from SUNY College of Technology at Utica, New York.
